Instructions
for authors.
Accepted papers will be included in the printed and electronic conference proceedings. Please use the prepared template and submit the final manuscript as an editable DOCX file.
Basic format
Prepare the paper on A4 pages. The complete manuscript, including figures, tables and references, must not exceed six pages.

Paper structure
- Give the paper title in Czech or Slovak and also in English.
- List all authors, their affiliations and the corresponding author’s email address.
- Include an English abstract of no more than 150 words and a set of keywords.
- Use numbered sections and conclude with a summary and references.
Typography
Indent the first line of each paragraph by 1 cm. These settings are already included in the prepared template.
Figures, graphs and tables
Place figures, graphs and tables directly in the text and make sure that labels remain legible in print. Microscopy images must include a scale bar or magnification.
- Recommended image formats are JPG, PNG or TIFF, preferably at 300 dpi.
- Place figure captions below the figure, centred, Times New Roman 10 pt, italic.
- Place table captions above the table, aligned left, Times New Roman 10 pt, italic.
- The organisers may request the original image files if necessary.
Paper submission
Submit one editable DOCX file. We recommend the filename Surname_short-title.docx. The author is responsible for the technical, linguistic and formal accuracy of the submitted manuscript.
Conference presentation
A projector and computer will be available in the lecture room. We recommend PPTX or PDF format with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Please discuss any non-standard technical requirements with the organisers in advance.
